About Matthew Rolland, CPA
Matt has been in public accounting since 2005, providing audit and accounting services to both public and private companies, including Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) reporting, public and private offerings, SOX 404 implementation and continued compliance, and complex accounting issues. Additionally, he spent two years in the Netherlands performing statutory audits under GAAP for various European Union countries, as well as group reporting under IFRS.
Matt focuses primarily in the energy industry, with experience in exploration and production, transportation, gas processing, refining and oilfield services. He also has significant experience in the manufacturing and distribution and real estate industries. He serves on the Board of Directors of the Council of Petroleum Accountants Societies – Colorado (COPAS-Colorado); the Board of Trustees of the Colorado Children’s Chorale; the Board of Trustees of the Educational Foundation of the Colorado Society of CPAs; and is a member of the American Society of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA); the Texas Society of Certified Public Accountants; and the Colorado Society of Certified Public Accountants. Prior to joining Hein, Matt was an audit manager at Ernst & Young. He graduated with a bachelor of business administration in accounting from Southern Methodist University.
